Description
The TL3-HDSS kit features ACT’s most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate paired with their best-selling Performance Street disc. ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates utilize an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process to ensure exceptional strength, consistency, and long-term performance. Precision-stamped pressure plate covers further enhance rigidity and reliability. The included ACT Performance Street disc is constructed from premium organic friction materials with high copper content for improved heat transfer, along with steel-backed linings for increased burst strength and durability. A reduced marcel design provides quicker shift response to complement the increased clamp load of ACT pressure plates, resulting in improved strength, reliability, and smooth street drivability.
