Description
The NZ1-HDR6 kit includes the most well-liked Heavy Duty pressure plate from ACT. In order to boost clamp load, decrease deflection, and extend clutch life, ACT Heavy Duty pressure plates use an innovative diaphragm design. For unmatched performance, all diaphragms go through a four-stage heat-treating procedure. Precision cover stampings on ACT pressure plates offer rigidity and consistency. High-quality ceramic friction materials are used in the construction of ACT’s 6-pad stiff race discs. Heat treatment increases the strength and longevity of the chrome-moly hub. The lightweight, robust construction enables shorter shifts and trouble-free operation. Although shifting is quicker with the 6-pad stiff race disc, engagement is harder. For bigger clutch sizes, the 6-pad stiff race disc is advised because it can absorb more heat.
