Description
The aFe POWER Pro 5R air intake system features a tall 7.5-inch, pre-oiled, 360° radial flow filter with five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze. This design allows the highest volume of airflow among aFe filter options, delivering maximum performance gains—ideal for both street and track use. The intake system includes a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube engineered for optimal power and a precise fit. Constructed from heat-resistant and highly durable XLPE material, it minimizes heat soak for consistent performance. The sealed XLPE polymer housing has a rugged design and a clear sight window for easy filter inspection. aFe POWER’s patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces the number of parts, simplifying installation. The system uses the factory air inlet and includes an optional auxiliary inlet to draw in additional airflow.
