- Each ferrule type has been designed for a specific fabrication application, depending on your project’s needs. The Standard ferrule is intended for use with aluminum tubing commonly used for intake and charge pipes. Panel ferrules can be used to mount directly to sheet metal as found on intercooler end tanks. Flat ferrules are receiver-less and are a great option for mounting to turbo compressors, or in various other unorthodox applications.
