The AMS EVO X Upper Intercooler Pipe (UICP) is a direct replacement for your factory upper intercooler pipe, offering a significant performance upgrade. Constructed from lightweight 2.5” mandrel-bent aluminum tubing, this pipe boasts several key features for optimal functionality. It incorporates a smooth, non-turbulent 2” to 2.5” transition, maximizing performance. The pipe ends are bead rolled, and the assembly securely mounts to the core support in the factory location, ensuring that couplers won’t pop off under boost. All factory couplers are replaced with high-quality 4-ply silicone components that can withstand pressures of 50+ psi of boost. Additionally, we utilize a silicone “hump hose” to prevent coupler damage due to engine movement. Our UICP undergoes professional TIG welding in-house by our skilled fabricators and is available in polished or black wrinkle powder-coated finishes. Installing this Upper Intercooler Pipe alone can result in a peak gain of 5 whp and midrange gains exceeding 10 whp over the stock setup, all without the need for ECU re-tuning!
