The FX400 System is the ultimate choice for extreme-duty street and road/drag racing. It features the Power Plus I, Hi-Leverage, Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate along with a custom and highly durable Sprung Ceramic disc. Available in 6 or 8-ceramic puck configurations, the 6-puck offers a more aggressive setup while the 8-puck is less aggressive. The sprung hub design provides moderate dampening for high-torque applications, making it more suitable for street use. With excellent longevity, exceptional holding capacity, and efficient heat dissipation, this system delivers top-notch performance. The FX400/HDCL (8-puck) ceramic full-face disc ensures rapid engagement with minimal chatter, thanks to the marcel cushion between the disc linings. It is designed for street-driven vehicles, prioritizing smooth operation. It’s important to note that ceramic-based clutch discs are designed to enhance holding capacity and durability rather than increase clutch life expectancy. Using them for easy street driving may result in a shorter lifespan due to harsh engagement and a higher likelihood of clutch slipping. Ceramic discs are not recommended for stock or near-stock vehicle applications.
