The carbon fiber components in this system are meticulously crafted with a 3k tow in a 2×2 twill weave pattern, finished with a glossy clear coat. Enhancing airflow, the factory air-box piping is replaced with 3″ tubing, while a bespoke carbon airbox lid replaces the stock piece, allowing for the installation of a reusable dual-inlet, a high-flow filter that provides a remarkable 165% additional surface area. With sleek black 4-ply silicone couplers secured by black e-coated stainless steel clamps, you’ll enjoy a seamless and OEM-quality installation. Designed in-house with exceptional attention to detail, this FMIC (Front Mount Intercooler) outperforms other aftermarket options. Through computational fluid dynamic analysis, a smooth end tank design was achieved, resulting in increased flow without significant turbulence. The intercooler’s outlet port features a large chamfer, ensuring a smooth transition into the throttle body tube, further minimizing turbulence in the system. If you’re considering additional modifications such as water or methanol injection, this intercooler includes two flat sections in the casting for easy installation of nozzles or use as a drain port. Crafted from cast aluminum and TIG welded, this assembly boasts a core that is 70% larger than the stock unit, providing a 10% increase in cooling surface area. It seamlessly fits with the OEM shutter shroud, requiring no cutting, trimming, or permanent modification to your vehicle.
