The computational fluid dynamic analysis resulted in a smooth end tank design that ensures even flow without significant turbulence. The outlet port of the intercooler features a large chamfer for a seamless transition into the throttle body tube, further minimizing turbulence within the system.
For those planning additional enhancements like water or methanol injection, this intercooler conveniently includes two flat sections. The top flat section allows easy installation of a nozzle by drilling and tapping, while the bottom flat section serves as a drain port.
Crafted from cast aluminum and TIG welded, this assembly boasts a core that is 70% larger than the stock unit, providing 10% more cooling surface area. Its snug fit with the OEM shutter shroud requires no cutting, trimming, or permanent modification to your vehicle.
