Description
Since EBC yellows are ECE brake safety tested, they have to perform as well as or better than factory pads right out of the box. Yellowstuff truly demonstrates its heritage when exposed to heat, which is not evaluated in the ECE R 90 braking safety rules. These are the only aftermarket pads that can match or surpass the fairly good German OE spec pads on Japanese vehicles produced with lower friction FF-rated pads, and it takes some effort to do so on German cars built with GG-rated pads. Both Japanese and German cars benefit from a full-grade higher stopping power with these pads. Yellowstuff is a highly effective friction pad in race cars and on vehicles since it is not only highly resistant to heat but also heavy braking and high friction. Yellowstuff has been utilized with remarkable success in both high-speed police vehicle brakes and race vehicles because of its high friction pad which is also very resistant to heat and harsh braking. Owing to its extensive temperature range, EBC Yellowstuff may be used in a wide range of applications. These include the quickest street use for cars with higher horsepower, race use for most street-based automobiles, and even brake upgrades for trucks and SUVs. When trucks are used for heavy lifting and towing, or when enormous tires and wheels have been installed, yellowstuff is particularly appreciated. EBC Bluestuff NDX or the new EBC Orangestuff grades should be taken into consideration in longer races.
