MAT Technology
Enkei created a new manufacturing process to create the next generation of aluminum wheels. Most Advanced Technology (M.A.T.) blends one-piece cast wheel technology with rim-forming technology known as the spinning process. It is vital to use this innovative technology of casting and rim forming by the M.A.T process to substantially improve the material property and strength of the wheels. The rim-Rolled technique molds the rim to increase material elongation while maintaining the wheel’s hardness.
SPEC-E
All Enkei wheels are designed to withstand severe testing. In fact, Enkei developed its own test standard known as “Spec-E,” which is more stringent than JWL criteria. Enkei’s Spec-E test setting necessitates a higher drop point in the impact test and 20% more cycles in the rotational bending fatigue and dynamic radial fatigue tests than JWL requirements.
