The PERRIN Super Shifter Stop addresses the excessive horizontal movement present in the 1st and 2nd gear shift gates. By reducing the factory’s nearly 1″ play to just 0.12″, it establishes a tighter connection between the driver and transmission. Vertical slop within the 1st and 2nd gear shift gates is also corrected by the PERRIN Super Shifter Stop, minimizing movement from 0.70″ to 0.20″. This enhancement further enhances the driver’s tactile feedback with the transmission. Crafted from durable 6061-T6 aluminum, the PERRIN Super Shifter Stop securely bolts directly to the shifter, ensuring reliability even during aggressive downshifts from 3rd to 2nd gear. Each unit comes with hardware to eliminate existing gaps in the shifter assembly, reducing lateral movement and enhancing overall stability.
