Description
A straightforward way to achieve the sound and appearance of a performance exhaust system without fully replacing your existing setup is to install our axle-back kit. This kit replaces the rear section of the OEM exhaust system, specifically the muffler and tips, and bolts directly to the OEM mid-pipe. There’s no need for cutting, drilling, or welding—it’s a simple, bolt-on replacement for the large and heavy OEM muffler. The kit is sold as a set, which includes both the left and right sides, along with the necessary gaskets and hardware. You can also combine this kit with our mid-pipe kit or a mid-pipe plus Y-pipe to create a complete cat-back exhaust system. Each section will improve exhaust gas flow and reduce restriction. For most turbo engines, decreasing exhaust gas restriction can lead to performance gains, especially in boost and higher RPM ranges. One of the great things about our products is that you have the flexibility to replace the entire exhaust system at once or do it in stages.
