Our most recent Kompact SmartPort, designed specifically for the 2015 WRX, has cutting-edge, drive-by-wire friendly Smart Port staging technology, which combines the high-performance advantages of a vent-to-atmosphere valve with the responsiveness of a Plumb Back valve. A novel new vent-to-atmosphere trumpet design and specialized alloys and coatings are used in the SmartPort system’s manufacturing process. These special designs offer improved sealing and quick reaction times. Better performance and a faster spool-up are the outcomes of contemporary drive-by-wire cars.
Inventive Trumpet Style
With Turbosmart’s SmartPort trumpet, the BOV’s body can have a softer spring to help with valve response to the Plumb Back Port without sacrificing the device’s capacity to vent to the atmosphere.
