Description
Turbosmart Constant Tension clamps are designed to compensate for temperature cycling and deformation in hoses such as silicon and rubber. Couplers, pipes, and hoses expand and shrink in size as they heat cycle within an engine compartment. The outer ‘Spring Action Band’ of our Constant Tension clamps works to maintain consistent force and load for maximum reliability, including against deformation and ‘Compression Set’. This unique construction allows the line to stretch and contract throughout heat cycles while maintaining ideal tension, so no more cut or bruised silicon hose.
