Uniquely designed for highly tuned street enthusiasts, the FX300 System features the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate and a steel-backed segmented Kevlar disc. This clutch offers impressive torque holding capacity, exceptional durability, and a non-abrasive Kevlar material that preserves mating surfaces. With slightly increased pedal pressure, long life, and positive engagement, the FX300 has been a consistently successful single-disc clutch choice. While it’s recommended for street use rather than track applications, a minimum 500-mile break-in period is necessary. Organic/ Kevlar/ Fiber-Tough Clutch kits are expected and tend to have a higher life expectancy than OEM, however not guaranteed. Improper Installation, Driving style, performance upgrades, Break in the procedure, and lightweight flywheels will affect and have a role in determining the life expectancy of the clutch kit.
